(English Abstract)
Virtualization technology allows several virtual machines to run on a physical machine by virtualizing computing resources. Thus, many researchers are recently trying to deploy the virtualization technology for embedded systems aiming to reduce size, weight, and power. However, because existing studies has been focused on virtualization for single-port CAN device, they have limitations in terms of supporting various embedded applications. In this paper, we propose and implement a virtualization for multi-port CAN devices. Also we show its performance. Finally, we show that our proposal can support characteristics of CAN at virtualization and integrate transparently distributed embedded environment using a case study.
