(English Abstract)
In combination with semantic search and IoT technology, it analyzes the intention of the user based on meaning, and performs active interpretation through inference, using various amounts of pre-processed data. It leads to returning information, with a high level of satisfaction relative to the result. In this study, we propose OMT, an information management and query system, that applies ontology in IoT middleware MinT, to efficiently perform a semantic search in a limited IoT environment. Ontology of OMT was constructed, by extending IoT-Lite ontology. In proposed ontology, it defined general class axioms, which are restriction of class relations and SWRL rules, that show relationships between classes by defining various life indices. The purpose of OMT is to provide semantic-based weather information to users in real time. So we measured the number of inference elements returned via U.I, and time to return the information to evaluate performance of the OMT, and proposed ontology. In the experiments, it was critical to set the appropriate number of axioms, by comparing trade-off between the return time, and number of inference elements.
