In Korea, when and sudden unintended acceleration (SUA) accident occurs, an automobile manufacturer says that the accident is simply caused by a driver’s improper operation of a pedal. Since most driver have no enough evidences for refutation, they are responsible for the accident. Therefore, this study implemented a system which obtains a driver’s pedal operation image at the time of an SUA accident, collects and saves data precision data from the sensors attached to accelerator and brake pedals, and judges whether the SUA accident is caused by the driver’s improper operation
