In recent years, Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) attracts considerable attention of the research community. Various optimization methods have been proposed to improve the efficiency and performance of MEC systems. Meanwhile, swarm intelligence (SI) technique is a crucial approach to achieve an effective solution. In this paper, we introduce and summarize the application of the SI technique in the MEC systems. Finally, we discuss in terms of challenges and clear directives for future researches. |
