최근 대학에서 사용하는 대표적인 출결 시스템인 구두 출석 방식과 전자 출결 시스템은 수업시간을 소모하면서 출석을 처리하는 문제와 부정 출석 문제가 존재한다. 이에 따라 모바일을 이용한 많은 출결 시스템들이 제안되었지만, 부정 출석 문제는 여전히 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 블루투스의 특성을 활용한 모바일 출결 시스템을 제안함으로써 기존 출결 시스템의 문제들을 해결하고자 한다. 이 시스템은 학생들의 출석 여부를 자동으로 처리함으로써 시간 소모를 없애줄 뿐만 아니라 주기적인 블루투스 연결을 통해 학생들의 존재 여부를 확인하여 기존 출결 시스템의 문제를 해결한다. 또한 RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator), 즉 블루투스의 신호 세기를 이용하여 학생들의 위치를 지속적으로 좌석 배치도 화면으로 제공함으로써 부정 출석 문제를 완전히 해결한다. |

(English Abstract) |
For the past decade, many types of electronic attendance checking systems have been introduced to replace the time-consuming, conventional ones in colleges. Moreover, a few mobilebased systems also have been proposed to detect illegal attendance, such as surrogate attendance and early departures from class, but still have not solved the problem. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an effective mobile attendance system using Bluetooth, to remedy many of the inadequacies of other systems. The proposed mobile attendance system not only eliminates the time-consuming attendance checking process, but also check the presence of students via periodic Bluetooth connections. In addition, it uses the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), the signal strength of Bluetooth, to display the student's position continuously on the seat-monitoring screen and thereby completely solves many of the illegal attendance problems.
