학습자들은 서로 다른 인지적 기능과 서로 다른 능력을 가지고 있기 때문에 동일한 학습 자료도 학습자들의 이해 정도는 상이하다. 최근 뇌 구조와 작용을 이해하여 뇌기능을 기초로 하는 학습자에 대한 이해와 효과적인 교수･학습을 실천할 수 있는 연구는 교육현장에서 중요해지고 있다. 본 연구는 최근 급속하게 발전하고 있는 뇌 과학의 연구 결과들을 교육적 관점에서 고찰하여 컴퓨터 과학을 바탕으로 하는 사고력과 문제 해결력 향상을 위한 알고리즘의 원리를 시각적으로 표현하고 우뇌기능을 고려한 교수･학습방법을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 개정된 컴퓨터 교육 내용에 따라 단순한 프로그램의 활용 교육에서 탈피하고 우뇌기능을 고려하여 초등학생을 위한 자료구조 및 알고리즘 학습을 지도한다. 학습 후에는 학습자들의 뇌선호 유형의 변화를 살펴보고, 뇌선호 유형별 총괄평가를 통해 시각화 학습프로그램이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 살펴본다. |
영문내용
(English Abstract) |
Since learners have different intelligence levels and different abilities, their levels of acceptance are different with the same learning content. Recently, the research works about understanding learners and implementing effective instructional methods based on brain functions by understanding a brain structure and brain functions have become important in education fields. This paper aims to propose a new instructional method considering right brain for visualizing the principles of algorithm to improve logical way of thinking based on computer science and problem solving ability. In this paper, according to the revised curriculum for computer education, primary school students can learn about the algorithms handling data structures with brain functions and can understand them by adopting the proposed method instead of by using the existed simple instructional method. After performing lectures, the changes in brain types are reexamined to see the changes of brain types. Finally, the students are tested with the summative assessment to see whether the proposed method influences the students' learning achievements. |
