본 연구의 목적은 관련 문헌 및 조사 분석을 통해 미국의 STEM 융합 교육 사례를 분석하여 시사점을 고찰하는 것이다. 먼저 미국의 STEM 교육의 유형은 대학중심형，학교융합형，기업주도형，개별학교형으로 파악되 었다. 또한，단순 교과 간의 통합 교육이 아닌 컴퓨팅 사고력 기반의 융합교육을 지향하고 있다. 그리고 인공지능 및 다양한 로봇 등의 피지컬 도구를 활용한 융합교육도 시도하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이에 따라 향후 국내 융합 교육 발전을 위한 시사점을 고찰하였다. |

(English Abstract) |
The purpose of this study is to analyze implications of STEM convergence education cases in the United States through relevant literature and survey analysis. First, the types of STEM education in the United States were identified as university-oriented, school convergence, business-led, and individual school. In addition, they are pursuing convergence education based on computational thinking, not integrated education between simple subjects. In addition, it is attempting convergence education using artificial intelligence and physical tools such as various robots. In this study, implications for the future development of convergence education in Korea were examined. |
