(English Abstract)
Sensor batteries can be charged using renewable energy sources thanks to emerging energy harvesting technology that has been successfully integrated into Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs). Meanwhile, the problem of Minimum Latency Aggregation Scheduling (MLAS) in battery-powered WSNs has received considerable attention. Harvesting energy, however, is limited and varied greatly between sensor nodes due to their limited energy harvesting capabilities. Therefore, all previous MLAs (BF-WSNs). In this paper, we study the MLAS problem in BF-WSNs by proposing a time -efficient scheduling scheme that reduces the data aggregation latency by benefiting the energy harvesting of the sensor nodes. We examine the performance of our proposed scheme through experiments. The results show that with varied network sizes our proposed scheme outperforms a modern scheme by up to 20% in terms of aggregation delay.
