In the wireless sensor networks (WSNs), neighbor discovery protocols are play a key role in order to extend the energy source of the wireless sensor. There are two types operations which are symmetric and asymmetric operation. Some protocols can be used symmetric operation. Block design based neighbor discovery protocol is well known protocol. It is not support asymmetric operations. In this talk, we will discuss various approach that support asymmetric operations.
