This paper studies the development of system software in particular those exploiting Cloud Computing and High Performance Computing (HPC) for Artificial intelligence, and their impact (economic and otherwise) on the Korea ICT industry and Traditional industry for System Software has been developed for artificial intelligence, as a part of the fulfillment of and Electronic and Telecommunications Research Institute. The view of cloud computing and HPC in Europe, S. Korea, Japan, and U.S show that: ICT technology related artificial intelligence service are growing rapid and the software usage had previously growing steadily all over Korea, now the growth rate is slower in Korea. The importance of Cloud Computing and HPC system software will grow as usage and penetration throws, providing benefits to still greater parts of the ICT business and traditional industry. This theses explains why System software is not just software on High Performance Computing, and why it therefore needs fundamentally new views of computation. It suggests component architectures based a model of computation, and describes some models of computation that are suitable for system software. |
