(English Abstract)
The operation parameters for power control and bandwidth allocation are derived and optimized for system performance. Specifically, the required CINR and power head-room for uplink bandwidth allocation are derived for each MCS (modulation and coding scheme) levels after evaluating the ideal performance of inner-loop with outer-loop power control algorithm. The effect of NI (network interference) level fluctuations in multi-cell environments is also considered through an indirect link simulations and the SNR loss from NI level variation is accessed. Finally, state management scheme for outer-loop control is also proposed for the proper power setting of discontinuous data packet transmission. The organization of the paper is as follows. The basic uplink control mechanism in WiBro system is described in Section 2 and 3. Simulation results for uplink performance with power control are presented in Section 4. The state management for outer-loop power control operation and uplink bandwidth allocation policy are summarized in Section 5. Finally, Section 6 presents the concluding remarks.
