(English Abstract)
Cloud computing is a popular subject across the IT industry. It is designed mainly to deal efficiently with large parallel computational jobs that require repetitive computations on multiple data sets. But in cloud computing, system performance is a significant target for improvement. How to fast detect the failed worker in cloud computing is very important. In this paper, we present a detection technique for failed worker using improved heartbeat message. The improved heartbeat message can carry more information. So, the master node can recognize the failed worker using the information. Our experiment result can demonstrate the effectiveness of the detection technique.
