±âÁ¸ IS-95 ½Ã½ºÅÛ°ú ´Þ¸® IMT-2000 ½Ã½ºÅÛ¿¡¼­ »ç¿ëµÇ´Â ±æ½ÓºÎÈ£´Â ´Ù¾çÇÑ ºÎÈ£À²À» °¡Áö¸ç£¬ µ¥ÀÌÅÍ Àü¼Û¼Óµµ(ÃÖ´ë 384 kbps) ¶ÇÇÑ ´Ù¾çÇÏ´Ù. ±×¸®°í ä³Î ºÎȣȭµÈ ½Éº¼µéÀº ½Éº¼À²À» Á¤ÇÕÇϱâ À§ÇÏ¿© ÃÖ ´ë 8¹ø ¹Ýº¹ÇÏ¿© Àü¼ÛµÈ´Ù. (English Abstract)
Convolutional code and turbo code are used in the forward and backward link of IMT-2¥álO. In this research, we will be in consideration of Viterbi algorithm In this paper, we design Viterbi decoder with 3-bits soft decision and SMT for the convolutional code in the forward link and backward li¸¶ of IMT-2000 sys¾Êm. The major parameters of 3-bits Viterbi decoder is deterrnined by simulation to have identical performance with the 4-bit soft decision Viterbi decoder.
