본 논문에서는 웨어러블 컴퓨팅 장치들을 사용자가 편리하게 모니터링하고 관리하기 위하여 웨어러블 컴퓨터 네트워크와 안드로이드 응용 서비스를 연동시키는 기술을 제안한다. 웨어러블 컴퓨터 네트워크인 e-Textile Network는 유선 망이지만 안드로이드 단말기와 통신하기 위하여 무선 게이트웨이 역할을 하는 장치를 포함하도록 한다. 안드로이드 단말기에는 웨어러블 컴퓨터 장치들과 통신하기 위하여 WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Networks) 무선 통신 인터페이스를 외부 동글로 추가하였다. 안드로이드 WPAN 인터페이스는 요구되는 하드웨어 리소스를 최소화하고 저전력과 멀티태스킹을 지원하기 위하여 TinyOS를 사용하였다. 또한 다수의 e-Textile Network와 노드 자체정보 그리고 노드가 수집하는 정보들을 효율적으로 관리하기 위하여 계층적 구조의 프로파일을 제안하였다. 활용 사례로서 다수의 e-Textile Network를 모니터링 하기 위한 서버-클라이언트 형태의 원격 모니터링 서비스 구조와 프로토타입을 구현하였다.

(English Abstract) |
A mechanism for interworking of e-Textile Networks with applications on the Android platform is proposed in this paper. An e-Textile Network is a wired network, thus it has a gateway for wireless communication with external devices. Likewise, Android mobile devices need a wireless interface to communicate with the e-Textile Network. A dongle of WPAN wireless interface on the TinyOS is implemented. Hierarchically structured profile for efficient and scalable management of e-Textile Networks is also proposed. As an application, a monitoring system is provided. The monitoring system is based on the client-server architecture and is able to manage multiple e-Textile networks.
