IEEE 802.16 ½Ã½ºÅÛ¿¡¼­´Â ´Ü¸»ÀÇ Ã¤³Î »óȲ¿¡ ¸Â´Â È¿À²ÀûÀÎ ¼­ºñ½º Á¦°øÀ» À§ÇØ, ±âÁö±¹¿¡¼­ ´Ü¸»ÀÇ Ã¤³Î »óȲ Á¤º¸¸¦ ¸®Æ÷Æ® ¹Þ´Â´Ù. (English Abstract)
IEEE 802.16 is a BWA (Broadband Wireless Access) system standard that provides a high data rate and wide transmission range to users. To provide the efficient service to users depending on users¡® channel quality, base stations receive channel quality report from users. The IEEE 802.16 standard defines the CQICH (channel quality information channel) report scheme. In the CQICH report scheme, a base station allocates uplink resources which are used for CQICH to users. Then users report their channel quality periodically using the allocated CQICH to the base station. However, the IEEE 802.16 standard does not specify how to manage CQICH. Therefore, a CQICH management scheme is necessary to acquire accurate users¡¯ channel quality efficiently. In this paper, we design a CQICH management scheme for IEEE 802.16 systems. The performance of the proposed scheme has been evaluated by simulations, and we have found that the base station obtains accurate channel quality for users and increases the capacity of IEEE 802.16e systems.
