(English Abstract)
Multi-access edge computing is a paradigm born with the main idea of moving cloud computing technology closer to the edge of the network. The edge of the network is either at a Base Station or an access point that is one hop away from an end-user mobile device. From this paradigm, the Edge Cloud is then established to be an entity that is able to compute task or store memory, and the latency of connecting to the Edge Cloud is lower compared to connecting to a bigger datacenter, else known as Central Cloud. The paradigm and the theoretical results of Edge Cloud implementation are exciting but it is hard to simulate the environment. Furthermore, the Edge Cloud environment consists of many constraints such as network connectivity, mobility of devices, cloud resources and the approaches taken for Edge Cloud selection based on Edge Orchestration. In this paper, initial guides and steps on setting up the environment are discussed based on task offloading scenario.
