Many breakthroughs have been made in facial expression recognition, this research area is still challenging due to some aspects such as micro-emotion or sampling environment. In this paper, we propose a convolutional neural network for facial expression recognition in the wild. Our model was evaluated on the FER2013 dataset and achieved a comparable performance to other methods.
