기존의 캡차용 이미지 데이터베이스를 구성하는 방법은 대량의 정확한 이미지를 자동으로 수집하지 못하기 때문에 캡차 시스템의 보안성과 낮은 정확성에 따른 사용자 편의성 및 수동작업으로 인한 운영상의 문제를 유발할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해서 인터넷으로부터 동적으로 검색한 이미지들 중에서 캡차 키워드를 위한 백과사전의 대표 이미지와 세그먼트 단위로 유사성이 높은 이미지들만을 캡차용 이미지 데이터베이스에 추가하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 자동화된 이미지 필터를 이용하면 최대 95%의 정확도를 갖는 캡차용 이미지 데이터베이스를 구성하여 사용자에게 정확한 캡차문제를 제공할 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 키워드와 관련된 백과사전의 대표 이미지를 추가하여 더 많은 이미지의 양을 확보함으로써 자동화된 프로그램의 반복적인 공격에 대한 보안성을 높게 유지시킬 수 있었다.

(English Abstract) |
The previous image database construction methods for the image-based CAPTCHA were not able to collect very large number of accurate images, so it causes problems of low security, low accuracy, and operation restrictions caused from the necessity of manual tasks. To solve these problems, in this paper, a fully-automated image database construction method for image-text fusion CAPTCHA is proposed. The proposed method uses the image in encyclopedia as the reference image for CAPTCHA’s keyword and collects only very similar images from the Internet with respect to the similarity based on object segments after removing background segments from images. The proposed image database construction method can achieve up to 95% accuracy for image-text fusion CAPTCHA. Furthermore the security level of image-text fusion CAPTCHA against automated bot program’s intelligent attacks can be improved by adding multiple reference images from other encyclopedias.
