¿µ¹®³»¿ë
(English Abstract)
This paper proposes a new additional filtering scheme for document plagiarism detection system to improve the performance and describes the development of an online web-based document plagiarism detection system. The previous document plagiarism detection system proposed by our research team needs long detection times because the system should do huge amount of similarity computations against the stored source documents to decide whether the input document is plagiarized or not. To reduce the number of candidate source documents that should be checked for plagiarism detection, another filtering step using Jaccard coefficient is augmented before the traditional filtering step using Cosine distance in the previous system. Also, we design a database schema for providing the history information of plagiarism detection activities for each user. With these proposals, we design a web-based service model and develop an online document plagiarism detection system. According to the experiment results, 64% of processing time can be reduced at most from that of the previous system in which Cosine similarity filter is only used.
