통신, 금융 등 고객에게 데이터를 이용하여 서비스를 제공하는 산업에서는 데이터 손실로 인한 서비스 장애 발생시 빠른 복구가 무엇보다 중요하다. 그러나 전통적인 방식은 시스템 복구에 많은 시간을 소요하며, 저장 공간의 오버헤드로 인해 많은 비용을 소모한다. 비용을 최소화하며 비즈니스의 연속성을 확보하기 위해 본 논문에서는 서비스 중인 데이터베이스에 심각한 장애가 발생하더라도 복제된 데이터베이스를 통해 데이터의 손실을 방지하고 지속적으로 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 실시간 데이터베이스 복제 기법을 제안한다. 데이터베이스에서는 트랜잭션처리 후 관련 정보를 로그에 먼저 기록한다. 따라서 로그를 분석하여 입력된 데이터 변경 SQL을 추출하고, 추출된 SQL을 다른 데이터베이스에 전송하여 동일한 작업을 실행하였다. 이러한 방식으로 실시간으로 데이터베이스 복제시스템을 구현하였다.

(English Abstract) |
In industries like communication, finance, and so on, wherein services using data are provided to customers, the most important thing is to restore rapidly a system if a system failure happens. However, the traditional method takes much time and costs a lot for storage overhead. In order to minimize the cost and to ensure business continuity, we proposed in this paper a real-time database replication method that would prevent data loss and support continuous service even though critical database disability occurs. After processing each transaction, the related data is recorded in the log in advance. Thus, by analyzing this log data, each SQL statement related to data modification from the log is extracted and sent to another database to conduct the same operation. In this way, we implement the real-time replication system for database systems.
