지질학에서는 미소광물을 분류하기 위한 방법으로 입도분석 방법을 이용한다. 입도분석의 방법으로는 입자의 굵기에 따라 자를 이용하여 직접 측정하는 방법과 체를 이용하는 방법, 그리고 점토와 같이 매우 작은 입자는 침강속도를 이용하여 간접적으로 측정한다. 이 중 체를 이용하는 방법은 체 분석 과 정과 건조작업을 통해 시료를 눈 크기별로 걸러내어 각 체에 남은 무게를 측정한 뒤, 입경별 누가 통과 율에 대한 입도분포 통계를 작성한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 작은 입자들을 분석하기 위해 광학적 접근 방법으로 카메라를 이용하여 시료를 촬영하고 촬영된 이미지를 처리하여 분석율을 높이는 연구를 수행 한다. 이를 위해 영상의 전처리 단계의 효율적인 과정을 도출하고 이진화, 모핑, 침식연산등의 다양한 처리기법의 조합을 찾는다. |

(English Abstract) |
In geology, particle size analysis is used to classify micro-minerals. As a method of particle size analysis, the particle size is measured directly using a ruler, a sieve method, and very small particles, such as clay, are measured indirectly using sedimentation velocity. The sieve method uses a sieve analysis process and a drying process to filter the sample by eye size, measure the remaining weight of each sieve, and then prepare a particle size distribution statistics on the passage rate of nougat by particle size. In this study, to analyze these small particles, we take a sample using a camera as an optical approach and improve the analysis rate by processing the captured images. To this end, we derive an efficient process of the preprocessing step of the image and find a combination of various processing techniques such as binarization, morphing, and erosion operation. |
