(English Abstract)
In geology, particle size analysis is used to classify micro-minerals. As a method of particle size analysis, the particle size is measured directly using a ruler, a sieve method, and very small particles, such as clay, are measured indirectly using sedimentation velocity. The sieve method uses a sieve analysis process and a drying process to filter the sample by eye size, measure the remaining weight of each sieve, and then prepare a particle size distribution statistics on the passage rate of nougat by particle size. In this study, to analyze these small particles, we take a sample using a camera as an optical approach and improve the analysis rate by processing the captured images. To this end, we derive an efficient process of the preprocessing step of the image and find a combination of various processing techniques such as binarization, morphing, and erosion operation.
