하드 디스크 용량이 증가함에 따라 개인의 일생에 대한 정보를 모두 저장할 수 있는 가능성이 대두되면서 일상 생활에서 발생하는 모든 정보, 즉 라이프로그를 저장해 두었다가 나중에 손쉽게 다시 찾을 수 있게 해 주는 라이프로그 관리에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SQL 기반 라이프로그 질의 처리 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 라이프로그를 관계 데이터 모델로 모델링하고 라이프로그 질의를 S Q L로 변환해 처리함으로써 질의 처리 성능을 높인다. 제안하는 기법은 기존의 SQL 기반 라이프로그 질의 처리 기법과 비교할 때, 라이프로그의 텍스트 내용뿐만 아니라 메타데이터에 대해서도 키워드 질의를 지원하고 라이프로그 사이 관계 정보에 기반한 질의인 관계 질의를 단순화해 관계 질의 작성 편의성과 관계 질의 처리 성능을 높인다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 라이프로그 질의 처리 기법의 구현에 관해 상세하게 설명한다. |

(English Abstract) |
As the capacity of disks rapidly increases, it has now become possible to store the data for the entire lifetime of a person in a single disk. This has lead to the growth of researches on lifelog management, which records all the information related to everyday life and allows people to find the information they want easily later. In this paper, we propose an SQL-based query processing method for lifelog data. The proposed method models lifelogs as relations in a relational database and supports an efficient query processing by transforming lifelog queries into SQL queries and executing them. Compared to existing SQL-based methods, the proposed method not only supports keyword queries on lifelog metadata, but it also simplfies the form of relationship queries for easy construction and efficient processing of relationship queries. We also provide detailed descriptions about how to implement the proposed method in our lifelog management system. |
