최근 고등교육의 필요성과 요구로 인해 시각장애인들도 대학에 입학하여 교육을 지속해가는 비율이 15% 까지 늘어났다. 하지만 비장애 학생들에게는 일상생활에 전혀 문제가 없지만 대학생활에서 수업, 시험, 편의시설 등 장애 학생들을 위한 지원 시스템이 부족하여 시각장애 학생들이 불편함을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 일상생활에 편리함을 주는 여러 음성 서비스에 착안하여 음성 인식을 통해 시각 장애학생들에게 도움을 주고자한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 시각장애인을 위한 음성 보고서 생성기는 시각장애 대학생들이 보다 독립적으로 노트필기나 과제의 보고서를 작성하여 학업을 지속할 수 있도록 한다. 음성 보고서 생성기의 작성 기능을 설계 및 프로토타입을 구현하여 그 동작과정을 제시하였다. 음성 보고서 생성기는 기존에 존재하던 음성노트 프로그램들 보다 시각장애인들을 위한 피드백을 주는 등의 편의 기능을 제공한다.

(English Abstract) |
Because of the recent needs and expanding demands of higher education, the percentage of visually impaired students entering college and continuing education, has increased by 15%. Although there has been no issue in daily life for students who are not visually impaired, students who are visually impaired are experiencing discomfort, because of the lack of support systems for them such as classes, test, and facilities. In this paper, we focus on various voice services conveniently conducive for the daily lives and assist them through speech recognition technology. We propose a voice report generator for visually impaired students, to enable such students to write notes or assignments for example, with more independence. The voice report generator is designed as a writing function, the prototype of the writing function is implemented and described. We provide customized services such as feedback for visually impaired students, rather than existing voice note programs.
