(English Abstract)
With the emergence of big data and data processing, many different programming models have emerged, designed for each of the different designated data processing systems. As a result, it has brought difficulties in switching between different computing engines. Apache Beam aims to solve this problem by providing a common programming interface for multiple computing engines, which each implements a runner to translate Beam applications into programs for the specific engine. In this paper, we share our experiences on creating an Apache Beam runner for Apache Nemo, a data processing system with flexible support for different execution behaviors.
