¿µ¹®³»¿ë (English Abstract) |
Currently, INS(Integrated Navigation System) applications for ships such as ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System), RADAR (Radio Detection And Ranging), and AIS (Automatic Identification System) have generally been operated in different hardware and operating systems i.e., in order to operate an integrated navigation system for ships, a separate hardware is required for each navigation application. In this study, we proposed the structure of integrated navigation system that supports MFD(Multi-Function Display) using the guest domain(DomU) of XEN hypervisor platform. The integrated navigation system centered on XEN virtualization is based on IEC61162-450/460 network which is the digital interface standard for navigational equipment within a ship. In addition, we have designed and established an integrated navigation system that supports MFD based on the XEN hypervisor and IEC61162-450/460. In order to verify the proposed system, we designed a simulator that generates various sensor data such as GPS(Global Positioning System) and AIS data. We then performed functional testing of the integrated navigation system based on the designed simulator and confirmed that the integrated navigation system based on the proposed XEN virtualization platform operates reliably. The advantages of the INS system based on the XEN hypervisor platform is that it is easy to backup and restore the system, reduced design cost of the system, and maximize the use of hardware resources.
