In this paper, we implemented a Visible Light Communication(VLC) system that interacts with smart devices to utilize LED(Light Emitting Diode)-based VLC in IoT(Internet of Things) service environment. The implemented systems consist of VLC transceiver modules and applications. The application encodes and decodes the file for VLC, and the bidirectional VLC transceiver module with LED and PD(Photo Diode) perform serial communication with smart devices through USB OTG(Universal Serial Bus On-The-Go). The implemented LED-based VLC system verified the VLC function by connecting with two smartphones with application.
