This paper introduces Novel Engineering (NE), NE is a way to integrate engineering into literacy. It¡¯s not familiar to us. This is a method for educating engineering. CEEO at Tufts University have already researched NE for STEM. NE has 6 steps; read a book, identify problems, building, feed-back, improve design, reconstruct stories. I think NE can help expand engineering to computational thinking concept. Actually NE has engineering design process. And computer programming and educational robots can be used throughout all NE processes. So NE will be a bood tool for improving computational thinking. NE is comprehensive activities including reading, writing, building, discussion, collaboration. I make sure that NE with educational robots has great impact on education.
