(English Abstract)
In cellular systems, hot-spor which is the region with traffic load substantially larger than design load, creates large blocking probability. To handle this problem, cell sectoring using directional array antenna is especially interested. In this paper, we use switched beam antennas to cover a cell to get blocking probability below 1%. Firstly, we consider the relationship between antenna parameters and blocking probability of multibeam CDMA based system under the presence of hotbeam. We find out sidelobe levels are required to be over 8.6dB and over 9dB for beamwidth 45 and 30, respectively, in order to guarantee blocking probability below 1%. After that, we apply two methods of windowing technique and Generalized Sidelobe Canceller(GSC) structure to cancel sidelobes, which helps to improve the network performance.
