본 논문에서는 영상처리를 통해 바둑대국의 기보를 자동으로 기록하는 시스템을 개발한다. 자동바둑기보생성을 위해 두 가지 시도가 있었다. 첫째는 바둑판 위의 교차점들을 검출하는 방식이었다. 본 논문에서는 이와는 차별성을 지닌 새로운 방식을 제안한다. 두 번째 방식은 새로운 바둑돌이 놓이기 전과 후 두 영상의 차이를 이용하여 위치를 검출하였다. 하지만 이 방식은 조도 변화가 있거나, 대국자의 건드림에 의해 기존 바둑돌들의 위치가 미세하게 변할 경우 검출에 어려움이 있다. 이는 바둑돌 모양인 원을 검출하는 방식이 아닌 차이가 발생한 픽셀 개수를 기준으로 하기 때문이다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해 본 논문은 바둑돌 원형 모양 검출 기반 방식을 제안한다. 원형검출을 위해 허프 변환을 이용하지만, 관련된 계산량을 감소시키는 방법도 제안한다. 자동 기보 시스템을 구현하였으며, 기존 방식과 비교한 결과문제점이 해결되었음을 확인하였다.

(English Abstract) |
We develop an automatic go recording system by using digital image processing. An existing scheme finds the locations of stones by counting the different pixels between two images taken before and after placing a new stone. However it is susceptible to illumination change and stone dislocation by players. It is because the scheme does not consider the circular stone shape. The proposed system exploits the circular Hough transform for the stone detection but is able to limit the computational overhead. Through the experiments, we observed that the proposed scheme is superior to the existing one.
