(English Abstract)
In this paper, we proposed a Q-learning based opportunistic channel hopping scheme for seamless monitoring in FCC allowed MBAN (Medical Body Area Network) at 2,360-2,400MHz. Each SU (Secondary User) performs the channel hopping through different sequences with multiple transceivers. When a SU performs opportunistic channel hopping using two transceivers, it provides less communication delay and stable service than conventional mechanism with one transceiver. Also, for decreasing communication delay, Q-learning is applied to our proposed channel hopping scheme. We propose a Q-learning based channel hopping mechanism so that healthcare devices can learn how to hop channels by considering the cost of channel sensing, transmission and channel hopping.
