최근 다양성을 고려하는 추천 기법에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 기존 기법들은 사용자마다 다양성 성향이 다르다는 점을 고려하지 않기 때문에 대부분의 사용자에게 만족스러운 추천을 하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 개선하기 위해 개별 사용자의 과거 아이템 평가 기록을 이용하여 사용자의 다양성 성향을 분석하고, 이를 계량화하는 기법을 제안한다. 또한, 이렇게 계량화된 다양성을 반영하는 추천 기법을 제안한다. 실험을 통하여 제안하는 기법이 기존 기법에 비해 정확도와 다양성 측면에서 모두 우수함을 보인다.

(English Abstract) |
Recently, a significant amount of research efforts have been devoted to diversification in recommendation systems. Previous approaches, however, are not satisfactory because they do not consider the diversity tendency of an individual user. To address this problem, we propose an approach that quantifies the degree of each user's diversity tendency through analyzing each user's previous preferences. Then, we propose a novel approach that uses the quantified factor in recommendation. Through a series of experiments, we demonstrate the superiority of our approach compared with existing ones in terms of both accuracy and diversity.
