¿µ¹®³»¿ë (English Abstract) |
Thanks to the ubiquity of mobile devices with mobile tethering functionality, mobile data offloading by mobile tethering can be used to construct cooperative heterogeneous networks which is independent to mobile network operators. In this paper, we study the utility maximization problem in mobile tetheringbased cooperative heterogeneous networks. Especially, since our formulation of utility maximization problem for coalitions in the network is a nonconvex optimization problem which global optimization technique is not known, we address a relaxation method to solve the problem. In addition, from simulation results we characterize factors that determine the effects from optimization, which explores the feasibility of cooperation by mobile tethering.
