¿µ¹®³»¿ë
(English Abstract)
In this paper, we propose a policy-based dynamic channel selection architecture to guarantee QoS (Quality-of-Service) for tactical messages in cognitive radio tactical networks. Dynamic channel selection should require right actions according to each situation because it has no coordinator such a commercial base station. To overcome this problem, we propose a policy-based architecture. This means the right rules and actions are defined as policy according to each situation, and dynamic channel selection operates itself without any coordinator according to pre-defined policy by pre-defined conditions. In other words, in tactical wireless networks the channels of PU(Primary User) and SU(Secondary User) are selected dynamically by the policy which is pre-defined according to combat situations and tactical spectrum environments. The proposed architecture is thoroughly examined by simulation method, and the results show that the performance in proposed architecture in term of throughput and packet loss ratio is more improved than that in no policy architecture according to increase traffic load.
