R&D 성과가 기술 사업화로 직접 연결되는 혁신 활동이 가속화됨에 따라 과학-기술의 연계에 대한 분석이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 요구를 수용하기 위해서는 R&D 대표 성과인 논문-특허 사이의 정보 융합이 이루어질 필요가 있으므로 상호 운용성을 확보할 수 있어야 한다. 실제로 R&D 전략 수립시 기술 동향 및 수준 분석을 위한 정보로 많이 활용되는 논문 및 특허는 서로 의미적으로 연관 관계를 가지고 있지만, 콘텐츠를 구분하는 가장 기본적인 분류체계가 다르기 때문에 콘텐츠 간의 상호 운용성이 이슈가 된다. 본 연구는 분류체계가 상이하여 상호 운용이 어려운 논문과 특허의 분류체계를 연계하기 위해 계층에 따라 매핑할 수 있는 182개 규칙을 생성하여 매핑 테이블을 설계하고, 연계 시스템을 개발한다. 이 결과 특허가 논문으로 89% 매핑됨을 보였다.

(English Abstract) |
The analysis on interlinking between science and technology is highly required as the innovation activity on commercializing R&D results has been accelerated. This requirement could be met by securing interoperability between papers and patents, which are representative results of the R&D activity and the information between the two should be conjoined. In practice, the papers and patents, which are popularly utilized for analyzing technical competencies and trends on planning R&D strategy, have semantic relationships between them. However, the interoperability between the two classifications, is one of the key challenges since their basic classification hierarchies for the contents are quite different. Therefore, we designed a system interlinking between the two classifications for securing interoperability between papers and patents. The system is based on a mapping table including 182 mapping rules, which are grouped according to the depth in their classes in order to relate the paper’s class to the patent’s class. As a result, the mapping from patents to papers showed 89% of linked rate.
