(English Abstract)
Recently various studies are carried out regarding reusing control softwares as development and maintenance cost of systems to efficiently control production facilities in manufacturing process is increasing. Problems in development cost and time is very serious as software has to be newly developed in different operating systems everytime due to platform dependency. In this paper, a control system middleware providing standard interfaces with functions such as common memory management, task management, message management, file management, event management and external communications is developed in order to overcome these problems. Proposed middleware enables real-time inspection of resource status and can respond flexibly to changes in various operating system environment and job functions. Thus, a great economical effect is expected in software development of manufacturing process control systems.
