(English Abstract)
Intelligent robots which perform various missions have limited battery capacity. Expecially, the robot which operates in dynamic environment need power management to extend robot's operation time. In this paper, we propose CAPMS(Context-Aware Power-Management System) to effectively manage the battery consumption of the robot component in the middleware-level by using context information for robot power management. We define component model which has five power state and sub-modes of active state. The proposed technique maintains robot's performance to achieve it's goal and also change component's state according to context information. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach, we simulate CAMPS with power consumption data of the small Unmaned Ground Vehicle.
