T-DMB는 디지털 이동 멀티미디어 방송으로, 유료 방송 서비스를 제공하고자 제한수신 시스템을 도입했다. 각각의 가입자들을 구별하기 위한 제한수신메시지는 가입자의 수가 늘어나게 되면 자연스럽게 늘어나게 된다. 그러나 T-DMB에서 전송 가능한 대역폭은 1.152Mbps로 제한되어 있다. 따라서 많은 가입자를 수용하기 위해서는 제한수신메시지를 효율적으로 전송해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 제한수신메시지 표준에 근거한 ETI Ensemble Frame을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 효율성의 문제를 발견하였다. 첫째 서로 다른 채널에서 제한수신메시지가 중복이 되며, 둘째 Frame의 비효율성으로 인해 낭비가 발생한다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 중복 또는 Frame의 비효율성을 제거하여 제한수신메시지를 전송할 수 있는 논리적인 채널 구성 및 전송 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 전송방법을 검증하기 위하여 검증 프로그램을 구현하였고, 기존 표준 제한수신메시지전송방법과 비교하였을 때 약 60%의 전송 효율이 향상되었다. |

(English Abstract) |
T-DMB, a digital mobile multimedia broadcasting, has adopted Conditional Access System for Pay-TV services. The number of CA Message for distinguishing each subscribers will naturally increase as subscribers increase. However, in T-DMB available bandwidth is limited to 1.152Mbps. Therefore, in order to accommodate more subscribers, CA Message should be transmitted efficiently. In this paper, as the result of analysing CA Message Standards for ETI Ensemble Frame the following issues efficiency were found. First, CA Message are duplicated in the different channels, Second, wasted frame occurs due to inefficiency of frame. In order to solve these problems, logical channel configuration and transmission method that can send CA Messages by eliminating the inefficiencies of duplication, or Frame of CA Message is proposed. Validation program was implemented, to verify the proposed transmission method and the transmission efficiency was 60% improved compare to that of existing standard CA Message. |
