(English Abstract)
In this paper, we propose a robot software frame-level fault detection and diagnosis method based on component time factors. Four factors representing time-related faults in robot software components with periodic execution model were identified, upon which the component profile was expanded with semantic information defining normal component execution. By monitoring the components executed on a robot execution engine's executor and comparing them with predefined semantic information, we can detect and diagnose faults. To verify the proposed method, we have implemented a prototype reconnaissance robot based on the OPRoS framework and conducted experiments using fault injection. The results have shown that the proposed method can effectively detect and diagnose time-related robot component faults and their propagation between components on the framework level.
