병렬처리 시스템과 병렬 프로그램에 대한 연구 수행시 병렬처리 시스템을 직접 사용할 수 없는 대부분의 경우 시뮬레이션을 하게 된다. 본 논문에서 설계 및 구현한 병렬처리 시뮬레이터 PPS(Parallel Processing Simulator)는 폰 노이만 모델 기반의 가상적인 병렬처리 시스템을 사용자가 자유롭게 구성하며, 이와같은 가상 시스템상에서 어셈블리 언어 수준의 PPS언어로 기술한 병렬 프로그램을 실행할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다.

(English Abstract) |
In studying on parallel processing system and parallel program, if there is no available parallel processing systems, in most case, simulation may be an alternative. We design and implement Parallel Processing Simulator(PPS) which can simulate a Von-Neumann model based parallel processing system specified by a user and provide environment to execute a parallel program described in PPS language similar to assembly language.
