With the recent expansion of new markets such as autonomous vehicles, the Internet of Things, and 5th generation telecommunications along with the trend of the 4th industrial revolution, demand for technologies such as high performance, high efficiency, and small and light is increasing. In a power supply device, due to the presence of Transformer, Capacitor, and Inductor, which are energy storage or conversion devices, miniaturization and weight reduction as expected are not achieved. In this paper, the Planar Transformer was designed/manufactured and applied to 350W (Output 20V, 17.5A) Active Clamp Forward Converter, and the purpose of this paper was to achieve high efficiency, small size, and lightness of the power supply. |
