(English Abstract)
Ionizer modules that generate negative ions are at risk of fire if there is no fault detection function when they are shorted by spark from the ionizer electrode. Therefore, this paper proposes an ionizer module circuit with fault detection function. It was confirmed that the VFB voltage at the short circuit at the ionizer electrode were lower than the voltage at the steady state. Therefore, if the MCU detects that the VFB voltage are lower than the steady state voltages, it is possible to determine whether there is a short circuit in the ionizer electrode.
