Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a group of developmental disabilities. Individuals with ASD show difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication, and repetitive and restricted behaviors. Although, ASD cannot be completely cured, problematic behaviors can be improved by well-structured therapy. ABA(Applied Behavior Analysis )can improve problem behavior and improve the quality of life of people with ASD, but above all, parental role in home is very important. However, parents of children with autism have to worry about whom to consult and how to treat when their child has signs and symptoms of suspected autism. In such a critical period, they are not able to obtain proper information and miss the treatment period, and there are problems such as economical difficulties due to the cost of treatment. Virtual reality can experience a virtual environment by enabling a person to interact with a specific environment or situation using a computer as if it were a real environment. This study suggests the development of VR(Virtual Reality) contents for parents education with ASD children using virtual reality technology.
