(English Abstract)
As the ship borne network integrates all equipment and sensors, the safety and security becomes an important issue. This paper investigates on the network security system for smart ship borne networks. The network security system can be achieved in two ways. The first is to monitor and analyze the network traffic so as to detect if there is any security threat. The second is to monitor the network traffic to detect the abnormal behavior in the ship borne networks and to notify the alert management system. In this paper, we design and implement the various monitoring and analysis tools so as to detect security threats and thus to enhance the navigational safety and security.
