(English Abstract)
With the rapid increases of smart devices that are connected to the internet, mobility management continues to be critical research issues. To provide highly efficient mobility management for many smart devices, IETF proposed PMIPv6. However, in order to utilize PMIPv6, we should consider security issues. Security threats and attacks (e.x. man-inmiddle attacks, denial-of-services attack, etc) against wireless communication in PMIPv6 intra-domain and inter-domain are not clearly considered in both domains. As a result, in this paper we proposed a fast secure authentication mechanism for smart devices through smart utilization of AAA server security mechanism, banding cache entry (BCE), Proxy notification update (PNU) and Acknowledgement (PNA).
