Color information is a great importance for the skin inspection of diseases diagnosis system. However, the RGB signals generated by different imaging device varied greatly due to dissimilar lighting conditions and usage of different kinds of digital cameras. To overcome the above problems, we present a novel color calibration method based on polynomial regression in this paper. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method provided a promising calibration effect for the skin inspection system.
