(English Abstract)
A low-voltage temperature-insensitive full CMOS current reference circuit operating with a single-supply voltage between 2.5V and 5.5V is proposed. The current reference realizes a temperature coefficient of 98ppm/%u2103 over a temperature range from -25%u2103 to 75%u2103 and a simple calibration technique for output current variations improves the yield of the circuit. The reference is integrated with a 10b 20MHz sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to verify its effectiveness in mixed-mode systems. The signal-to-noise-and- distortion ratio (SNDR) of the experimental ADC with a 10MHz input sinusoidal signal at a 20MHz sampling rate and a 3V supply voltage is measured to be 50dB.
