¿µ¹®³»¿ë (English Abstract) |
In the task allocation which is one of the most essential works during a distributed system design, modules constituting a task may be replicated for enhancing reliability. In this paper, we present analysis models of interprocessor communications and reliability, and propose a module replication method based on the analysis models. The method is based on the following idea. In order to execute a task with high reliability, each module constituting the task must have a similar level of high reliability with others. That is, any module with especially low reliability makes the reliability of the task execution low, because every module which constitutes the task is dependent on each other. Our module replication method computes the reliability of each module and the amount of interprocessor communications using our analysis model. With the result of computation, each module may be replicated in order to have some proper level of reliability.
