(English Abstract)
This paper presents a body channel communication (BCC) receiver with throughput enhanced packet communication scheme. The control voltage of VCXO in the carrier recovery loop is sampled and held between every two consecutive packets. By this operation, phase error of carrier recovery can be minimized. As VCXO has high frequency stability, integrated phase error due to loop filter leakage is negligible. Costas loop based main receiver is fabricated in 0.25 ¥ìm CMOS process. The digital baseband and the remaining receiver circuit are implemented on FPGA and PCB, respectively.
