(English Abstract)
EPCglobal Gen2 uses probabilistic slotted ALOHA with Q algorithm, which is a kind of dynamic framed slotted ALOHA (DFSA), as the tag anti-collision algorithm. In this paper, we analyze the performance of Q algorithm used in Gen2, and compare the tag estimation methods for DFSA. We also propose a new anticollision algorithm, which is based on Chebyshev¡¯s inequality, to replace the Q algorithm used in Gen2. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms Q algorithm. That is, the proposed algorithm reduces the identification time, increases the throughput and system efficiency, and shows more consistent collision ratio than Q algorithm.
