정형화된 정보의 이질성과 분산성은 공공 및 민간 부분에 축적된 정보를 공유되기 어렵게 만들고 있다. 다시 말해, 지협적으로 정의된 정보의 구조나 이를 관리하는 이질적인 데이터 소스들은 정보의 검색이나 재사용을 어렵게 한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 정형화된 정보를 쉽게 관리하고 검색하는데 도움을 주는 미디에이터/래퍼를 설계하고 구현한다. 미디에이터는 정보에 대한 통합된 뷰를 제공하고, 래퍼는 각각의 데이터 소스로부터 원하는 데이터를 추출하는 역할을 수행한다. 또한, 개별 데이터 소스를 관리하는 래퍼의 작성을 돕기 위한 자동화 도구를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 실험을 통해 시스템이 주어진 질의를 신속하고 정확하게 처리한다는 것을 보인다.

(English Abstract) |
Due to the heterogeneity and distribution of explicit information, it is difficult to share the information piled in public and private sectors. In other words, the structure and format of the information that are locally defined and managed by heterogeneous data sources make information retrieval and reuse difficult. To address this issue, we design and implement a mediator/wrapper to support a quick look and easy management of the explicit information. The mediator gives a consolidate view of the information and the wrapper extracts demanded information from each data source. In addition, we provide an automated tool to facilitate the creation of a wrapper corresponding to a data source. Our experimental results show that our system gives fast and correct answers of given queries.
